Lisa trained and qualified to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction under the direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD, the MBSR program's creator while completing a Master's Degree in in Integrative Health Education from JFKU in Northern California.
In addition to MBSR, course offerings include: Mindfulness of Food and Eating, Conscious Aging, workshops for Mindfulness in Medicine, Mindfulness and Pain and Mindfulness in the Workplace. Lisa also offers individual and semi-private mindfulness counseling by appointment.
Lisa is an experienced teacher and administrator with a demonstrated history of working in education, health care and clinical wellness industries. Lisa has worked in the area of mindfulness-based programs and services with a wide variety of public, patient and healthcare provider populations since 2006.
