I take a holistic approach to wellness, believing that every person has within themselves the power and capacity to heal. I am dedicated to facilitating the implementation of trauma-informed and mindfulness-based self-care practice in all settings, and I strive to build awareness and resilience and create a safe and compassionate environment for self-exploration.
I am an LSCSW who has worked with children, families and adults in the Kansas City area since 2006. Through extensive work with individuals experiencing trauma and grief, it became essential to build and implement a mindfulness practice both for myself and the people I have the privilege to serve. I find that mindfulness is the greatest path to resilience and well-being and is vital for coping with life's stressors. I am looking forward to pursuing my Mindfulness Teacher Certification training in the upcoming year and being able to further share the gift of mindfulness understanding, application and practice. I am passionate about mindful movement, time in nature and radical compassion for ourselves and all living beings. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of a community that nurtures and facilitates growth and learning through mindfulness.
