Angie Hardage is a licensed therapist with over 10 years of community and clinical experience working in the area of prevention and treatment of eating disorders. Angie is integrative in her approach. Her theoretical orientation is a blend of feminist (relational cultural) and 3rd wave, mindfulness-based modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
She pioneered a social-emotional education program at Wichita Collegiate School (Star Girls) and currently serves as a consultant for Wichita Collegiate School and The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in the development of trauma informed youth development programming.
In her free time she enjoys reading, Pilates, yoga, and playing ping pong.
Angie completed her APPIC and APA approved clinical internship at the University of Colorado - Boulder and passed the EPPP (national licensure exam) at the doctoral level in 2011. She is certified as a clinical trauma professional (CCTP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP) and has received specialized training in grief counseling, expressive therapy (art therapy), and sexual assault crisis response counseling. Angie’s approach emphasizes authenticity, collaboration, and empowerment.
