Gail has spent most of her working life avoiding meditation, introspection and self-reflection because she was far too busy. So the irony is not lost on her, as she launches Pauzify, a new company which offers mindfulness, meditation & emotional intelligence (EI) training and workshops for some of the busiest people on the planet. She has over twenty-five years’ experience successfully raising five, six and seven-figure sponsorships and funding for a broad range of projects including; start-ups, dotcom’s, filmed media, (TV, digital) speakers, authors, and special projects. As a marketing exec, she worked with a diverse group of Fortune 500 companies from Apple to Visa. Her last corporate gig was with a division of the New York Times digital, as their global communications chief for winetoday.com. Gail is a dedicated mentor with the Economic Center of Johnson County (ECJC) and UMKC E-scholars mentorship programs for start-ups and entrepreneurs. A constant learner herself. Gail has recently been accepted into the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) training program designed at Google. SIYLI’s rigorous program teaches exceptional trainers how to teach emotional intelligence skills that lead to sustained peak performance, strong collaboration and effective leadership. This fits in rather nicely with Gail’s mission to spread the word on why and how mindfulness is a major business advantage in real life.
