Trained Mindfulness Teachers

These service providers can document that they are trained mindfulness teachers, agree to MAM’s Intention Statement for TMTs and agree to the Good Practice Guidelines for Mindfulness Teachers. MAM collects basic credentialing and training information for professionals listed within this category.

Mindfulness Informed Professionals

These service providers offer the attitudes and practices of mindfulness in their professional work with others and agree to MAM’s Intention Statement for MIPs. MAM does not collect any credentialing information for professionals listed in this category.

Mindfulness Teacher Trainers

These service providers are Certified Mindfulness Teachers who are approved to mentor/train other mindfulness teachers, agree to MAM’s Intention Statement for MTTs, and uphold Good Practice Guidelines for Trainers of Mindfulness Teachers.

Mindfulness Informed Organizations

Mindfulness Informed Organizations (MIO) are businesses in the community who are committed to helping build and sustain a mindfulness community in the Midwest and agree to MAM’s Intention Statement for MIOs.
