Traditional mindfulness and meditation retreats typically are held primarily in silence and alternate between periods of meditation and mindful movement. Our teachers have designed, managed and led traditional retreats from several hours in length to multiple days. Several of our teachers are trained or certified to lead mindfulness based programs and their respective retreats such as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC).
Our teachers are experienced in designing and leading mindfulness retreats for groups and organizations of a various sizes and backgrounds to meet your specific needs. Often groups are interested in learning about mindfulness and sampling practices that can help their members reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance overall well-being. We can assist organizers in assessing needs prior to planning and measuring impact after the experience if desired.
Our mindfulness teachers are creative and love to innovate. We’ve designed programming for people who are brand new to mindfulness as well as seasoned practitioners. Some of our more imaginative retreats have included river floats, a human mandala, a sensory adventure, collaborative art, time with horses, a “rest-in”, live music, a bubble machine, and a food truck with shaved ice for mindful eating. We’d love to design an innovative contemplative retreat experience just for your group.
